Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a number of frequently asked questions from our customers.
Notice of material price increase beginning July 7, 2022

We put it off as long as we could, but all our material prices are increasing on July 1. The new prices will be posted on June 30. We are expecting a $2.00 to $3.00 per ton increase on all materials. Thank you for your support over the years, we look forward to supplying your material needs for years to come.

We are not adding a fuel surcharge to our delivery prices. We have heard that other area companies are, in addition to their much higher prices. That seems like insult to injury right now.

Why don't you sell mason sand for sandboxes?

The dust from the fine Mason Sand can cause cancer. Probably not often in the case of a sand box, but enough to not take any chances.

Crystalline silica has been classified as a human lung carcinogen. Additionally, breathing crystalline silica dust can cause silicosis, which in severe cases can be disabling, or even fatal.

For more information on this topic visit this U.S Department of Labor OSHA page.

The best and least expensive materiel for a sand box is Concrete Sand. It is $19.95 per ton, 1 ton covers 100 square feet 2 inches deep. We have an 8 ton minimum delivery. If you don't need 8 tons we will gladly refer you to the closest reputable company in your area.

Is it possible to match the color of existing materials?

Rock, gravels and other mined materials occur naturally within veins or deposits and are subject to change at any time. We cannot guarantee that the color of your material will be an exact match to previously purchased materials, from us or anyone else. We do guarantee the materials will fit the specification for the mined material.

Why should we buy from you instead of another landscaping materials company?

Because we deliver the material directly from the source to your home. You save on inventory charges, handling costs and the landscaping material is cleaner.

How do I find the best material to use for each project?

Call us. We will answer all your questions and if we don't know the answer, we will find someone who does.
