Tips

9" Avg. (3" - 15") Mountain Granite Rip Rap works the best for most home decorative / stacked wall projects. The 9" Avg. rock is about the largest sizes that most adults can place, for a dry stack wall, without hurting themselves. Even so many pieces will require 2 people to install.

9" Mountain Granite Rip Rap is the perfect material to use on parking lot islands to keep people from walking on them and possibly slipping and falling off them while trying to cross. We have had several companies order the rip-rap for that exact reason. You also don't have to water it, reseed it or mow it. It won't dry up and die, no matter how hot and dry it gets. It's the perfect material for the job.

How to Order the Correct Amount of Material

Measure the length and width of the area. Get the total square footage by multiplying the length by the width.

Example

30 feet x 40 feet = 1200 square feet
1200 sq. ft divided by 100 = 12 tons
